The following describes the process and methodology used to test the performance of Peachtree by Sage - Quantum 2010 compared to Peachtree by Sage Premium Accounting 2010. The test was conducted at Sage, by Sage employees during February of 2009. The test scenarios were conducted. The Stress Test evaluated the performance of invoice save times and opening reports in quick succession. Test reflects the recommended hardware and software configurations for Peachtree Quantum.
Peachtree by Sage - Stress Test
Test Environment
5 machines with the Peachtree data on an additional server. The machine configurations were as follows:

Environment
Isolated network using 100 megabit ethernet
Test Scenario
5 client machines running at once. 3 machines creating invoices and 2 machines pulling up reports. All machines stop once all the reports in the test have been accessed. The purpose of the test is to time multi user read and write times.
